About Us
The Healthy Fitness Challenge is sponsored by the Anne Arundel
County Department of Health
The Healthy Fitness Challenge was originally created by the Learn To Live Program which is a community-based program that focuses
on healthy living. The program has helped County residents
quit smoking or never start to smoke, encouraged them to get cancer
screenings, offered information about healthy eating and encouraged
them to protect themselves from the sun.
Lack of exercise and poor eating habits place County residents at
increased risk not only for cancer but diabetes and cardiovascular
disease as well.
The Healthy Fitness Challenge is a fun, interactive program designed for County residents of all ages to get Anne Arundel County on the move and eating better! What better way to shape up!
