Keeping Babies Safe Training
This Web page offers information, tools and resources (including sample educational materials) to help educate pregnant women, parents and caregivers about how to keep infants and young children safe from injuries.

FREE Healthy Babies Educational Materials for Use With Anne Arundel County Residents
Free Healthy Babies educational materials are available for use with Anne Arundel County residents. Educational materials are available in English and Spanish and include the following topics: Anne Arundel County resources, fetal movements, preterm labor, calming a crying baby, safe sleep, car seat safety, home safety, secondhand smoke and being a father.

Anne Arundel County Healthy Babies Coalition
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health started the Healthy Babies Coalition in 2006 to address maternal and child health disparities among African Americans in the County and improve pregnancy and birth outcomes. The Coalition's goal is for all babies in Anne Arundel County to be born healthy and thrive.

Infant Health in Anne Arundel County, May 2009
This report provides a summary of causes and risk factors for infant deaths in Anne Arundel County. The information in this report has helped the Department of Health, in its partnership with other government agencies, health care professionals and community leaders, to develop strategies to reduce infant mortality in the County.
