Frances B. Phillips, R.N., M.H.A., Health Officer Welcome. The Department of Health's mission is to preserve, protect and promote the health of all County residents. We are committed to leadership and service to assure that all residents have access to personal and environmental health services and information. Crucial to achieving this goal are our partnerships with individuals, community groups, health providers and businesses. Our vision is a vital Anne Arundel County in which healthy people reside in healthy communities.

August Is REACH Provider Appreciation Month


County Executive John R. Leopold has proclaimed August to be REACH Provider Appreciation Month in Anne Arundel County, recognizing the contributions of more than 400 health care providers to the County's uninsured residents.
