Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Under the supervision of the Gun Violence Intervention Team Program Manager, this position will support and monitor the implementation of the county violence interruption program. Work closely with community-based organizations selected to implement violence interruption and with stakeholders, County and Annapolis City officials to identify challenges in program implementation and facilitate assistance with Cure Violence Global technical assistance support. Oversee grant deliverables, including collecting and monitoring program reports with reviews for accuracy and monitoring implementation objectives. Track and report grant expenditures for budget monitoring and seek additional funding to support ongoing work. Other areas in public health may be addressed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, health care administration, behavioral health, social work, psychology or other related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

In lieu of degree, at least four years of relevant experience in a violence interruption program.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to work on a team and independently; excellent written and oral communication skills; understanding of gun violence as a public health issue; community stakeholder coordination experience; proficient with Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Office, and SmartSheet.
