| With Benefits Position: Participation in the Anne Arundel County Government employee’s group health plan (including dental, prescription and optical), paid holidays, annual and sick leave. The selected employee may also participate in the Anne Arundel County Government employee’s deferred compensation program at his or her own expense. |
Job Description
| Nature of Work: The selected candidate will provide short-term clinical counseling and mental health-related psycho-education to clients in their homes through ongoing home visits. The candidate will develop client treatment plans including problem areas, desired treatment outcomes and the strategies for achieving them. The candidate will utilize a strength-based, trauma-focused approach and will collaborate with Healthy Start staff to promote client and family well-being. |
Minimum Qualifications
| Education and Experience: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists under the requirements for licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) OR Determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under the licensing requirements for social workers |
| License or Certification: Must be licensed with the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a licensed clinical professional counselor OR Must be licensed as a certified social worker-clinical by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners |
