Job Description
| Nature of Work: The Registered Nurse Consultant will verify the in-home assessment of functional capacity (interRAI Home Care), develop a Plan of Care, complete ongoing nursing assessments, evaluate the delivery and outcome of care performed by Nursing Agency Staff, gauge the need for additional services and initiate appropriate referrals. Will work from home Monday through Friday to perform telephonic visits and is required to conduct home visits periodically for in-person assessments. |
Minimum Qualifications
| Education: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Registered Nurse. |
| Experience: Preference will be given to those with Community Health home visiting experience. Must be able to work independently, be knowledgeable of community resources or willing to learn about them, have the ability to travel throughout the county to monitor cases and be computer literate. |
| License or Certification: Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the State Board of Nursing, as well as professional liability insurance and CPR. Must possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the state of Maryland as well as a Certificate of Auto Insurance. |
