Behavioral Health Updated: 2.5.08 The Behavioral Health Division promotes the emotional health and physical well being of county residents by assessing the problems, needs and resources of the county and promoting behavioral health through education, prevention and treatment. The division offers three major programs: Adult Addiction Services, Community Treatment Services, Adolescent and Family Services. The division also administers grants to provide for services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and for children grieving the loss of a family member.
The division's staff interact with community advocacy groups and private providers to coordinate care, develop resources and develop policy. |
