Salary: $44,106 – $56,982 per year (based on experience)
Nature of Work: This position is under the supervision of the Finance and Behavioral Health Administrators. The position’s duties require developing and administering assigned grants within the Bureau of Behavioral Health, production of financial, narrative and statistical reports. This position assists the Administrators with overall budget monitoring, tracking of expenditures, preparing forms, reports and other related tasks. Works with Behavioral Health Administration to reconcile county budget systems and Quickbooks internal tracking.
Requires advanced level of skill with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Excellent communication skills are a must as this position will interact with grantees, Department Administration and other community partners. Assignments require creative, analytical and evaluative thinking.
Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: Three years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.
Preferred Qualification: Certification in financial or accounting field, experience with financial reconciliation and audits.
