Department of Health’s Grants Support Local Programs,
Enrich the Quality of Life of Anne Arundel County Residents
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has awarded a total of $592,000 in grants to local programs that help enrich the quality of life for Anne Arundel County families and communities. The Fiscal Year 2019 Community Grants support capital projects and program operations that focus on family health and wellness and training for crisis situations.

|Anne Arundel County Mental Health Agency||$222,040||Support Anne Arundel County Mobile Crisis Teams.|
|Center for Help||$27,500||Support programs for Hispanic-Latinos and other immigrants socially, educationally and economically.|
|Chrysalis House||$9,800||Hire an architectural firm to create renderings and elevations for the addition of a transitional home.|
|Hope for All||$2,500||Purchase beds, furniture and clothing for those transitioning from homelessness.|
|Langton Green||$20,256||Support labor and materials to grow, prepare, package and distribute produce for disabled population.|
|Samaritan House||$20,904||Continue the career-counseling program and launch yoga classes and gym/wellness initiatives.|
|University of Maryland Medical System Foundation||$50,000||Fund staff and provide training tools for the Advanced Life Support program.|
|YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County||$115,000||Support crisis intervention services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.|
