The Anne Arundel County Department of Health will continue to evaluate the safety of reopening the county based on the 12 measures below. The measures capture how Anne Arundel County is progressing on the control of the spread of COVID-19, hospital and testing capacity, contact tracing efforts and health equity.
The health department will update its Reopening Status Report weekly on Tuesdays.
Hospital, Community and Death Indicators:
Hospital Census: Green = Decrease from previous week, Yellow = No change from previous week, Red = Increase from previous week
Hospital Occupancy: Green = Under 70% occupancy, Yellow = 70-85% occupancy, Red = >85% occupancy
Community: Green = <5 cases per 100,000, Yellow = 5-10 cases per 100,000, Red = >10 cases per 100,000
Deaths: Green = Decrease from previous week, Yellow = No change from previous week, Red = Increase from previous week
Testing Indicators:
Percent positive – green: goal met; red: increase from 3-day period before; yellow decrease from 3-day period before
Percent of population tested – green: goal met; red: increase from week before; yellow decrease from week before
