Anne Arundel County Department of Health Services Schedule

Following best practices and guidelines for COVID-19 during this critical time, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health will be open only for essential services.

Appointments for some services must be scheduled in advance. Other programs and services are being offered elsewhere or remotely. Using interventions, such as mask wearing, physical distancing, staying home as much as possible, hand hygiene and getting tested for COVID-19, will help limit the spread of this pandemic.

Vital Records:

Birth Certificates by Appointment Only. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 410-222-4462 Monday through Friday to schedule a birth certificate appointment. Vital record information is also available online:

Death Certificates
For Funeral Directors By Appointment Only Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
For the Public by Appointment Only Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Behavioral Health:

All main numbers to BH Services are being answered.

Disease Prevention Management:

Cancer Screening Services (Breast and Cervical Cancer Program) by phone or appointments only.
Magothy Health Center. Staff are available to accept new clients for breast and cervical cancer screening referrals and to assist existing clients. Call Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 410-222-6180 or 410-222-6071 (Español) for assistance and referrals.

Community Education/AA Healthy Kids/Learn To Live:
Closed at this time. Please visit, https://www.learntolivehealthy.org for health education needs.

Glen Burnie Health Center and Parole Health Center:
Call Glen Burnie Center at 410-222-6633  or Parole Center at 410-222-7247 for information about immunizations.

HIV/AIDS Case Management:
No face-to-face appointments. Call 410-222-7108 for emergent patient needs.

Immunizations:
Childhood immunizations are provided by appointment only at the Glen Burnie Health Center 410-222-6633 and the Parole Health Center 410-222-7247.

STI Testing Referral and Safe Sex Kits:

Family Health Services:

Access to Healthcare:
Medicaid – Use the online portal at www.marylandhealthconnection.gov or call

Administrative Care Coordination (ACC):
No change in services. Call 410-222-7541 for information and questions related to your MCO and access to care.

Dental: (Annapolis)
Urgent care by appointment only – 410-222-7138

Dental (Glen Burnie): Closed

Dental Care Coordination Services:
Call 410-222-3090 and leave a message to be returned by a Dental Care Coordinator

MCHP:
The Health Care Enrollment Center in Annapolis will assist customers by telephone only and is not accepting appointments. For questions about your case, call 410-222-4792. North County Health Care Enrollment Center at Aquahart Road is closed until further notice.

MA Transportation Program:
Call 410-222-7152 and leave a message to schedule transportation at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. At this time the Department of Health is only transporting to recurring services. All other transports to non-urgent services will be postponed. Be sure to call your doctor’s office to confirm your appointment prior to scheduling transportation.

REACH:
The REACH Program will assist clients by telephone only. Call 410-222-7020 for customer assistance.
