The Road to Recovery Program provides outpatient treatment to adults with opioid use disorder. The program offers methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone, in combination with individual, group, and family counseling to best support clients on their path towards recovery.
The treatment program also includes drug and alcohol education; urinalysis testing; medical exams; screenings for tuberculosis, hepatitis, and HIV, along with referrals to peer support specialists and other services as needed. The Road to Recovery Clinics are all accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International.
Anne Arundel County residents who have been or are dependent on opioids should call to find out if they are eligible for treatment. Based on screening information, some residents may be linked to other providers in order to meet their needs. Fees for services are determined by insurance eligibility

Road to Recovery Program at ORCC
The Road to Recovery Clinic at the Ordnance Road Correctional Center (ORCC) is a Behavioral Health Bureau program that opened in June 2012 and is located in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
The Road to Recovery Program at ORCC offers medication in the treatment of opioid use disorders to inmates who are detained that are currently on a community methadone program or interested in being assessed for eligibility to begin methadone or naltrexone. Patients receive a medical evaluation, individual counseling, case management, assessment and release planning, access to peer support services, and referrals to community resources as needed.
When ready for release, the patient is transitioned to Road to Recovery Community Clinics for continuity of care until the patient either returns to their original program if applicable or remains in treatment with Road to Recovery. The primary goal of this program is to assist inmates with acquiring continued treatment in the form of medication and counseling as well as case management services necessary to successfully transition into the community and lead a substance-free lifestyle.
