Anne Arundel County has a network of private substance use treatment providers who participate with the Department of Health in offering treatment services at various locations countywide. Different levels of treatment are available, including early intervention groups, outpatient clinic and residential. The Opportunity for Recovery Fund (ORF) is available to provide financial assistance for eligible Anne Arundel County residents who need help paying for recovery housing, see Opportunity for Recovery Fund
There are also numerous volunteer support groups for individuals with a substance use disorder, family members and children. These support groups hold regular meetings in the community.
