Annapolis, MD (July 3, 2024) – Due to heavy rainfall earlier in the week, the public health advisory for Turkey Point at Selby Bay remains in effect until follow-up testing shows water quality conditions are acceptable.
Enterococci levels exceed the acceptable standard:
Annapolis, MD (June 28, 2024) – The Department of Health has issued a public health advisory for Turkey Point at Selby Bay due to high enterococci or bacteria levels. The Department of Health advises against swimming, waterskiing and other direct water contact activities. The advisory is in effect until the acceptable standard is met for the designated bathing beach.
