Brock Bridge Community Fire Safety Event

The Brock Bridge PTA is honored to be one of only three sites nationwide selected to host a family fire safety event as part of a joint effort between National PTA and Kidde during Fire Safety Month. Families will be guided together through some age-appropriate (not-so-scary) conversations and activities to learn how to better prevent, prepare for, and deal with a house fire.

Free food is included for all participants, guest speakers, tables for information and resources hosted by community partners, and, of course, fire department vehicles. Local public officials and media are expected to attend, and there will be a professional photographer onsite to cover the event for PR purposes by National PTA. We are expecting a large turnout of Brock Bridge and Maryland City families, so this is a great opportunity for you to educate around health, safety, and wellbeing topics!
