Job Description
Nature of Work: Adolescent and Family Services (AFS) is looking for a dynamic, trauma-informed child psychiatrist to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals. The clinic serves county children and youth, ages 4 through 18, and their families. This is a contractual consultant position, renewed annually. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the incumbent is responsible for providing psychiatric clinical services to AFS patients in accordance with clinic policies. |
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Knowledge of substance misuse and addictions. Must provide documentation of current professional malpractice insurance with a minimum of $1 million per incident / $3 million aggregate coverage. |
License or Certification: Must possess a current license from the Maryland Board of Physicians in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: At least a year of working with children and adolescents. |
