Job Description
| Nature of Work: Under the supervision of the appropriate School Health Nurse, this position manages the activities of the schools health room. These duties include first aid and administration of medication as delegated by the school nurse. Responsibilities may include a variety of health tasks and clerical work in assisting students with health related needs. Nature of work involves lifting, positioning, transferring, and aiding in bodily functions as needed. |
Minimum Qualifications
| Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. |
| Experience: None |
| License or Certification: Candidates must successfully complete a Board approved Certified Nursing Assistant/ Certified Medication Technician training program provided by the Anne Arundel County Department of Health. Driver’s License Required. |
