Department of Health Seeks Grant Applications from Medically Managed Residential Programs and Maryland Certification of Recovery Residences to Deliver Short-Term Stabilization Services
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is seeking grant applications from licensed and accredited American Society of Addiction Medicine Level 3.7 Withdrawal Management Medically Managed Residential Programs and Maryland Certification of Recovery Residences (MCORR) Certified Recovery House Providers to deliver short-term stabilization services for individuals with opioid and/or stimulant use disorders. The goal is to reduce overdose risk and facilitate entry into longer-term care.
Crisis stabilization services should not exceed four days. Contracts for these services will be awarded starting January 1, 2025, through a competitive process. Successful applicants will enhance existing services and expand access to treatment by incorporating buprenorphine induction, care coordination and peer support services.
