Job Description
Nature of Work: Assist the Overdose Prevention Team Health Planner in literature review and research related to opioid overdose, substance use funding and policy, and evidence-based programs in order to develop a public health program to benefit Anne Arundel County residents affected by the loss of a loved one to overdose. Develop methods for determining eligibility and identifying potential participants for the public health program. Compile and synthesize findings for presentation to applicable stakeholders. It should be noted that this project may evolve based on the research and needs of the population. |
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in health-related field from an accredited college or university. |
Experience: A strong background in public health research, epidemiology, and data analysis, with the ability to work collaboratively and individually. Experience synthesizing research findings, generating actionable public health recommendations, and creating visual and written presentations of the information for stakeholders. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Actively pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. |
