Job Description
Nature of Work: This is professional work on behalf of senior and special needs citizens and their family members. Work involves extensive contact with the public, community organizations and agencies, and county and state personnel. Will travel throughout Anne Arundel County to homes/workplaces of the Maryland Medical Assistance Medical Care Program. Participants to verify the initial standard assessment of functional capability, termed the interRAI Home Care Assessment Form, complete a nursing assessment, evaluate the delivery of care performed by Residential Service Agency/Personal Assistance Provider Agency Staff, and determine the need for discharge from personal assistance services or referral to other services. This is determined through the following:

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. |
Experience: Preference will be given to those with community health home visiting experience. Must be able to work independently, be knowledgeable of community resources or willing to learn about them, and have the ability to travel throughout the county. Be comfortable conducting in-person home visits and be computer literate. |
License or Certification: Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing. Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license. |
Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in public health services or community health home visiting. Skills beyond a beginner level in data entry and Google Workspace. |
