What is REACH?
In response to the growing number of uninsured adults in Anne Arundel County, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health and the Anne Arundel County Medical Society have partnered with community doctors and other health care providers to offer low-cost health care services through the REACH Program, (REsidents Access to a Coalition of Health).
Partners in the REACH program are:
- Anne Arundel County Department of Health
- Anne Arundel County Medical Society
- Diagnostic Labs
- Local Hospitals
- Community Doctors and Other Health Care Providers
- Local Pharmacies
- Radiology Sites
What are the benefits of REACH?
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health will provide a case manager to assist you in obtaining care.
- Doctor visits
- Prescription medicines
- Lab work and tests
- Radiology services
- Dental services
What will it cost?
If you are enrolled as a member of the REACH Program, you will pay the provider at the time of service, according to a fee scale that is based upon your household income.
Who can apply?
Residents of Anne Arundel County who applied for insurance through the Maryland Health Connection health plan and were denied coverage, and were unable to qualify for state and federal insurance plans can apply.
REACH makes low-cost adult health care easy.
- Easy application process
- Countywide network of providers
- Coordination of health care needs
REACH is not an insurance policy and does not provide insurance coverage.
