Mark your calendars for June 7, the 10th National Gun Violence Awareness Day. This day also kicks off the Wear Orange campaign, a powerful symbol of solidarity against gun violence. Wear Orange is a representation of gun violence victims, survivors, and those working together to end gun violence.

Anne Arundel County's Moms Demand Action
Will provide resources at two locations on Saturday, June 8, to promote Wear Orange.

Gun Violence Awareness Artwork Displays
In June, the Anne Arundel County Public Library will display soul box quilts at participating branches. The Soul Box is an art-based tool that raises awareness of the gun violence epidemic in the United States.
Participating Branches: Easport - Annapolis Neck, Odenton, Severna Park
Students from Brooklyn Park Middle will create artwork representing how they define gun violence. The artwork will be displayed at the Brooklyn Park Library beginning June 10. Please visit any of these branches to view these art displays.
Gun Violence Awareness Butterfly Craft
Join the Anne Arundel County Library in spreading hope, joy, and transformation through the Gun Violence Awareness Butterfly Craft. This independent activity, available at participating Anne Arundel County libraries, is a testament to our community's shared commitment to a safer future.

Cure Violence Annapolis will be hosting its first Gun Violence Awareness community cookout.

Gun Violence Awareness Month
No Harm will host a Gun Violence Awareness Month event on June 30 at the Pip Moyer Recreational Center in Annapolis. More details will follow.
