Administrative Care Coordination (ACC) provides services to County residents who are enrolled in (or who may be eligible for) Medical Assistance(Medicaid). ACC can help you:
- understand your Medicaid benefits and how to access services.
- find a primary care doctor or specialist in your MCO’s network
- find a dentist Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program
- connect with Medicaid transportation services
- get your prescriptions filled
ACC can explain:
- your MCO choices. MCO Comparison Chart
- the health care services you can get out of network and without a referral, like prenatal care (if you already started prenatal care) and family planning services
- your annual right to change MCOs
- how to renew your Medicaid benefits by contacting the Anne Arundel County’s Eligibility & Enrollment Program at 443-510-7784 to schedule an appointment or through the Maryland Health Connection
- how to keep your information updated and how to get a new Medicaid card if your card is lost or stolen
- your appeal and grievance rights and connect with the HealthChoice Helpline at 800-284-4510
